Day 1: Arrival | Coimbatore – Ooty (3.5 Hours, 90 Kms)
Begin your journey in Coimbatore, where you'll meet our executive at the airport or railway station and set off towards Ooty, the picturesque hill station nestled in the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.
In the afternoon, explore the enchanting beauty of Ooty, also known as the 'Queen of Hills.' If time allows, visit the serene Ooty Lake, a popular destination known for its tranquil ambiance and the scenic views it offers. Stroll along the lakeside path or enjoy a peaceful boat ride. Explore the local markets in the evening and savour a delightful dinner at your hotel or a nearby restaurant.
Day 2: Ooty Sightseeing
After a hearty breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the renowned Rose Garden, home to a dazzling array of colourful roses. This award-winning garden is a feast for the senses, with its vibrant blooms and fragrant air. Next, take a scenic drive to the tea gardens of Coonoor, where you can enjoy a refreshing walk amidst the lush greenery and perhaps sample some of the locally grown tea.
In the afternoon, explore the Botanical Garden, an expansive 55-acre park with diverse flora and fauna. Then, visit the Tea Factory and Tea Museum, where you can learn about the tea-making process and purchase some organic tea to take home. If you are an art enthusiast, you will enjoy the Thread Garden, famous for its intricate handcrafted flowers and plants, and a visit to Wax World and the Glass House.
Day 3: Ooty – Coonoor – Kodaikanal (280 Kms, 6.5 Hours Drive)
Start your day with a traditional South Indian breakfast before heading to Coonoor, a charming hill station situated at an altitude of 1,850 meters. Visit Sim's Park, a botanical haven featuring over 1,000 species of flora, including exotic plants like the Queensland Karry Pine and Rudraksha trees. Next, head to Lamb's Rock, also known as Echo Rock, which offers breathtaking views of the Coimbatore plains and the lush greenery of the Nilgiris Hills.
Continue your journey towards Kodaikanal, with a stop at the picturesque Silver Cascade Falls along the way. Upon arrival in Kodaikanal, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.
Day 4: Kodaikanal Sightseeing
Enjoy a delightful breakfast before embarking on a day of exploration in Kodaikanal. Day 5: Kodaikanal – Coimbatore | Departure (5 Hrs, 180 Kms)
On the final day, enjoy a delicious breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Begin your return journey to Coimbatore, where we’ll drop you at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
