Day 1: Arrival
Upon arriving at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station, you'll be greeted by our representative. From there, embark on a scenic drive to Ooty, a charming hill station nestled in the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up.
If time allows, begin your exploration with a visit to the renowned Rose Garden, the pride of Ooty boasting a stunning array of colourful and fragrant roses. This garden is part of an elite group of 35 rose gardens worldwide that have received the prestigious Garden of Excellence Award for South Asia. Continue to the iconic Ooty Lake, a man-made lake created in 1825 by John Sullivan. Stroll along the well-maintained pathways or enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the serene waters. In the evening, explore the local markets for souvenirs and savour a delicious dinner at your chosen restaurant. Overnight stay at your hotel in Ooty.
Day 2: Ooty – Coonoor
Start your day with a delightful breakfast before heading out to explore more of Ooty and its surroundings. Travel to Coonoor, a picturesque hill station located approximately 20 kilometres from Ooty. Coonoor, nestled in the Nilgiris Hills at an altitude of 1,850 meters, offers a variety of attractions and adventure activities, including trekking.
Visit the Sim's Park, a botanical garden established in 1874 and home to over 1,000 species of flora, including the Queensland Karry Pine, Rudraksha (bead tree), and various ornamental trees. Next, visit Lamb's Rock, also known as Echo Rock, a popular picnic spot offering stunning views of the Coimbatore Plains and surrounding greenery. The route to Lamb's Rock also provides excellent trekking opportunities.
Continue to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris Hills, standing at about 2,623 meters. It is the second-highest peak in South India and offers breathtaking panoramic views. Don't miss a visit to the tea gardens of Coonoor, where you can take a leisurely walk through the lush plantations and enjoy the invigorating aroma of freshly brewed tea. Overnight stay at your hotel in Ooty.
Day 3: Departure
On the final day of your tour, enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out from your hotel. You will be transferred back to Coimbatore for your onward journey.
