The online entry permit form, available on the Lakshadweep Tourism website, requires submission to the administrator. The fee is 50 rupees per applicant, with an additional heritage fee of 100 rupees for ages 12 to 18 and 200 rupees for those over 18.

Indian visitors need a Police Clearance Certificate from their district's Commissioner of Police, along with a self-attested ID card photocopy and three passport-size photos.

Upon permit approval, travellers must present the permit upon arrival in Lakshadweep to explore the archipelago.
