Vishansar Lake

Wular Lake

Just a two-hour drive from Srinagar, Wular Lake is located in the Bandipora district and is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia. This is not only a pretty lake but also offers flood protection to the valley. You’ll be mesmerized by the striking natural beauty here. Gangabal Lake

Gangabal lake or Harmukh Ganga is set on the foothills of the Harmukh Mountain at an altitude of 3570 m. The lake is home to incredible trout and rainbow fishes. It offers a unique trekking and camping experience to nature lovers and the best route is via Sonmarg to Vishansar Lake.

Gadsar Lake

Also known as Yemsar lake, this is a stunning high-altitude lake located in the Ganderbal district of Kashmir. The lake is set at an elevation of 3600 m above sea level, and amongst the highest lakes in Kashmir. This pristine lake is also sometimes called the lake of flowers and gets frozen in the winter so one can only visit during the summer season.
