Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka – Enroute to Sigiriya via Pinnawala and Dambulla
Upon arrival, meet with the representatives who will accompany you to Sigiriya, your first destination.
Along the journey, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, about 55 miles from Colombo. Try to catch the feeding times (9:30-10:00 AM, 1:30-2:00 PM) or the bathing sessions (10:00-10:30 AM, 2:00-2:30 PM) when the elephants are taken to a nearby river—a magical experience.
Continue the journey with a stop at the Pinnawala Open Zoo and a fragrant stroll through a local spice garden, learning about Sri Lanka’s diverse flora and aromatic spices.
Arrive in Dambulla and visit the iconic Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with striking statues and murals within a 500-foot-high rock. Dating back to the 1st Century B.C., this sacred site features life-sized Buddha statues, intricate frescoes, and artefacts reflecting ancient Sinhalese history and devotion.

Day 2: Sigiriya – Kandy
After breakfast, start your ascent of the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This 5th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site, also called Lion Rock, rises 600 feet and offers not only historical insights but also breathtaking views. Explore the palace ruins, water tanks, and frescoes of "Sigiriya Damsels" which adorn the walls, along with water gardens, boulder gardens, and cave temples.
Then, continue your journey to the cultural heart of Sri Lanka, Kandy.
In the evening, visit the Kandy Gem Gallery to see Sri Lanka's prized gemstones, followed by the dazzling Kandy Cultural Show showcasing traditional music and dance.
End your day with a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a revered Buddhist site that houses a relic of the Buddha’s tooth, considered the island's most treasured possession.

Day 3: Kandy to Bentota
Enjoy breakfast before heading toward Bentota. Upon arrival, take some time to unwind and embrace the serene coastal vibes.
Spend the evening at your own leisure. Relax at your beachfront hotel, with ample time to soak in the beauty of Bentota.

Day 4: Exploring Bentota
After breakfast, explore Bentota's natural wonders and thrilling adventures. Embark on a scenic Maadu River Ride, navigating mangroves and spotting wildlife. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a sanctuary dedicated to conserving endangered sea turtles. For adrenaline seekers, enjoy Bentota Water Sports like Jet Skiing, Banana Rides, and Tube Rides.

Day 5: Bentota to Colombo
Start your day with a delectable breakfast and hop on a journey to Colombo (approx. 2-hour drive).
Discover Colombo’s bustling commercial zones, tree-lined avenues, and iconic sights. Take a drive through Cinnamon Gardens, a leafy residential area. Explore Fort, once a British stronghold, and Sea Street, renowned for its goldsmiths. Visit the Bazaar area, with a striking Hindu Temple and the historical Dutch Church of Wolfendhal (1749). Stop by the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Avukana Buddha replica, and Independence Square.

Day 6: Departure from Colombo
