Day 01: Arrival | Cochin – Munnar (4 hrs drive)
Upon your arrival at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station, you'll set off on a picturesque four-hour drive to Munnar. Along the way, marvel at the mesmerizing views of Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls, as well as other scenic wonders. Once in Munnar, check into your hotel and enjoy a restful evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 02: Exploring Munnar
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the enchanting sights of Munnar, nestled at the confluence of three mountain streams - Kundale, Nallathanni, and Mudrapuzha, and perched 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer retreat of British officials, this hill station offers numerous attractions. Visit the Tata Tea Museum (closed on Mondays), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Photo Point. In the afternoon, venture to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) to catch a glimpse of the rare Nilgiri Tahr. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady (4 hrs drive)
After a delicious breakfast, check out from your hotel and set off for a scenic drive to Thekkady, approximately four hours away. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and prepare for an adventure-filled afternoon. Explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, spanning 777 sq. km, including 360 sq. km of dense evergreen forest. Optional activities include boating on Periyar Lake, witnessing a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu (martial art) performance, and touring a spice plantation (all available on direct payment basis). Day 04: Thekkady – Alleppey (4 hrs drive)
