Day 01: Arrival in Bagdogra/NJP to Phuentsholing

Complete the necessary immigration formalities and check into your hotel. Relax and prepare for an exciting journey ahead. Overnight in Phuentsholing at an altitude of 300m. 

Day 02: Phuentsholing to Thimphu (5 hrs drive) 
Devour a sumptuous breakfast, checkout and embark on a scenic drive from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. As you leave the bustling streets behind, you'll be greeted by refreshing mountain air and breathtaking natural beauty. Pass through diverse landscapes, including broadleaf forests, charming villages, and cascading waterfalls. Don't miss the picturesque Chuzom, where the Thimphu, Paro, and Phuentsholing highways converge.  

Capture the welcoming sight of our revered King and Queen in a beautiful portrait. Explore Thimphu on foot if time permits, experiencing its unique blend of modernity and traditional charm. Discover a variety of imported garments, local souvenirs, and exquisite handicrafts. Thimphu, the only capital city without traffic lights, offers a delightful street stroll. Overnight in Thimphu at an altitude of 2400m. 

Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing 
Experience the vibrant spirit of Thimphu, a city that is the centre of commerce, religion, and government. Indulge in its modern amenities, including a wide selection of restaurants, internet cafes, and shopping centres, while still preserving its rich cultural heritage. Visit the colossal Buddha viewpoint, which showcases the world's largest sitting Buddha statue and offers a panoramic view of Thimphu Valley.  

Explore the Folk Heritage Museum, providing fascinating insights into Bhutanese material culture and way of life. Capture the breathtaking scenery of the entire valley from the Sangaygang View Point. Immerse yourself in the unique story of the national animal, the Takin, at the Takin Zoo. Marvel at the traditional Bhutanese art of weaving, witnessing the remarkable skills and dexterity of the weavers. Overnight in Thimphu. 

Day 04: Thimphu to Paro (1.5 hrs) 
Move to Paro after a hearty breakfast, tracing your drive through scenic landscapes. Enjoy a leg-stretching walk at Tachogang Lhakhang while crossing the Paro River or savour the views from the roadside, depending on your arrival time. Visit the Paro Airport View Point, offering the best vantage point to admire the entire airport and its surroundings.

Day 05: Paro Sightseeing 
Delight in the picturesque region of Paro, blessed with fertile rice fields and a meandering crystalline river. Immerse yourself in the historical sites, luxurious resorts, and vibrant souvenir shops, including the world-famous Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest. Day 06: Paro to Phuentsholing (5 hrs drive)

Enjoy the opportunity to purchase authentic Bhutanese souvenirs and agricultural products, perfect for sharing with your loved ones back home. Take in the natural beauty along the way, with stops for tea/coffee, and capturing memorable photographs at scenic spots, waterfalls, and villages. Depending on your interests, visit Kharbandi or Rinchending Gompa, monasteries offering breathtaking views of Phuentsholing and its surroundings. Capture stunning photos with the town and mountains as a backdrop. Overnight in Phuentsholing. 

Day 07: Farewell and Departure from Bagdogra/NJP
